Alysha Jarvis: Seizing Opportunities

Jarvis had never traveled outside the country before becoming a Goodnight Transfer Scholar. Her time at NC State has included ASB trips to Peru (twice) and Rwanda, as well as study abroad in Ireland and Goodnight Scholars trips to Paris and London (with Washington, D.C., thrown in for good measure).

Meet Ladi Folarin

Meet Ladi Folarin, a Civil Engineering Major who studied abroad at the University of Manchester in Spring 2025.

Paul Zia Memorial Lecture Series: Harkers Island Bridge Replacement Makes History in N.C.

The 2025 Paul Zia Memorial Lecture covered the Harkers Island Bridge Replacement project. The project marked a milestone as the first concrete bridge to be made entirely out of glass FRP bars and carbon FRP prestressing strands.
